Jack Sheppard is a First Nations spiritual healer, channeller and psychic medium based in Narrm Melbourne, descended from of the D'Galag Clan Group of Far North Queensland. Jacks work encompasses place-based somatic deep listening, dance healing, trance work and embodied storytelling. Jack Culminates their knowledge in energy healing, creative arts & ritual to investigate the multi-dimensions of the inner psyche, and to embedd a more authentic relationship with nature into the sense of self. Jack's works with divine spirit, honouring our Ancestral Kin and Creation Spirit. Through his spiritual embodied practice, Jack attempts to create positive energy shifts within the sediments of unresolved story that can sit withinin the recesses of our inner world. Jack is an award winning professional in creative expression through First Nations storytelling, dramaturgy, performance, dance and writing. Jack has used these skills for social impact and community healing. Jacks work has entialed both the creation of works that interrogate themes of trauma, loss and grief, with the intention to transform and alchemise those livign stories through enlightenment, sense-making and hope-making. This work has existed within relational contexts such as community workshops and creative healing spaces.
Jack has worked in community healing and mental health, and has developed his knowledge in narrative healing embodied practice within this work. All of Jacks professional and life expereinces have become anchored within his spiritual healing and readings practice.
As a First Nations person, Jack has made the conscious choice to respond to the complex expereinces of intergenerational traumas of Cultural displacement and loss, as well as grief that he has expereinced in within his own life, to create transformation within the narratives of subjegation, victimhood and toxicity. Jack invites the possibility of discovering freedom, radiance and authenticity, drawing on their Ancestral power and inner spirit as a means to rise up.
